PUBLIC RELATIONS
PNW Plateful
As part of a service-learning project at Western Washington University, my team and I worked closely with a Bellingham nonprofit to create a PR campaign proposal suited to the organization's needs. The campaign is backed by our own survey research and includes quantifiable objectives, a timeline, multiple budget options, and sample PR materials. These include a social media plan with sample posts, a press release template, radio PSA script, and other branded elements.

As a reporting and marketing intern at local online newspaper MyBellinghamNow, I covered local news, kept our social media up-to-date, worked on weekly email newsletters, and created promotional materials as needed.

HomesNOW!
My team and I worked with Bellingham nonprofit HomesNOW! as part of a service-learning project at Western Washington University. Over the course of several months, we produced PR deliverables as outlined in our MOU with the client. We studied the organization's branding and conducted interviews and took photos on-site to create unique PR materials suited to the client's needs.
